Tasks

-Works collaboratively toward achieving net zero carbon goals, taking responsibility for identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions throughout project delivery. -Engages proactively with client teams to foster strong relationships and ensure a smooth and successful journey throughout the project phases. -Contributes to strategic planning, develops actionable plans, and ensures the timely and budget-conscious delivery of the annual business plan. -Acts as the operational manager for design managers and other design resources deployed to projects, and presents key performance indicators and review data to senior leadership. -Provides direction and support in implementing and maintaining the design management system, ensuring all business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. -Oversees the entire project portfolio programme, identifying opportunities and addressing challenges that may impact delivery, quality, or stakeholder satisfaction. -Supports business development and work-winning activities, drives transformational change, and ensures relevant training is identified, developed, and delivered to enhance team capabilities. -Leads through managers to drive enhancements in processes by applying best practices, lessons learned, and business improvement strategies that add distinctive value for clients. -Builds and leads internal and external design teams, ensuring the right resources are allocated and project deliverables are clearly defined and understood. -Manages teams to deliver key outcomes while contributing to the strategic development of design management systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and continuous improvement. -Collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to implement strategies, programmes, and initiatives, while managing and negotiating with senior stakeholders. -Defines the strategic approach to design management for each project and approves consultant appointments across all work streams when required by contract.

What You Bring

-Experience handling the Design process for a Stadium or related project. -Membership professional body (RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT). -Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval. -Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering. -Strong communion & Stakeholder management skills.
