Tasks
The HSES Technical Supervisor is responsible for the managing various aspects of HSES in direct support of construction or fabrication operations. The HSES Technical Supervisor is an ambassador for safety to coworkers, vendors, clients, customers, and subcontractors. The position typically supervises HSES technical and administrative employees and reports to the Regional Manager or Sr. Manager HSES. -Assist in the initiation of HSES training needs analysis and coordination of implementation -Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project HSES Activity Plans -Manage/Implement HSES Audit programs. -Directly supervise and provide direction on work assignments and daily tasks to site/facility HSE staff -Assist in HSES Prequalification of project subcontractors and vendors, as applicable -Ensuring HSES plans, procedures and instructions are implemented -Preparation, discussion and evaluation of Red Sheets with Sales and Operations for optimum continuity -Review of customer procedures for Sales and/or Operations -Manage Environmental Management System “ERA”, ensuring prompt data entry. Create applicable internal and regulatory reports and deliverables by utilizing the system. -Leading or participating as SME in Incident Investigations and reporting as applicable (COMET). -Work with Construction Teams to develop and implement effective HSES and site execution plans. -Develop a system of tracking applicable Environmental Reporting Deliverables (AEIR, TRI, Title V compliance reports Quarterly SWPPP inspections and sampling, etc.). -Preparation of environmental performance reports and submission to the Area HSES Manager. -Contributing to site execution planning and setting objectives, targets and goals -Responsible for development and implementation of specific and measurable goals with defined timelines -Proactively identifies and solves the complex problems -Responsible for all New Hire HSE Training of production craft and other hourly employees -Identification of applicable regulatory requirements specific to the scope of work including monitoring compliance. -Assist in evaluation of subcontractor HSE screening process and documentation. -Lead Spill Response and Environmental Incident Investigations and reporting. -Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project Risk Register and Corrective Action Tracking -Attend and provide input to forums such as kick off meetings, constructability & readiness plans, etc. -Assist in preparation of project HSES audit plans and conducting of audits -Oversee air raise of tank roofs for field crew -Provide HSES guidance and leadership to management and team leaders. -Ensure new products/chemicals comply with the Shop permit emission limit for VOC, HAPs, and PM by reviewing the product SDS, recommending the appropriate PPE and keeping the SDS library updated. -Provide support to environmental input to Management of Change and Lessons Learned. -Train other employees on ERA system use. -Facilitation of project HAZID's and other risk reviews -Proactively embraces and promotes the company's values and culture, including diversity & inclusion and a healthy and safe work environment. -Utilizing Knowledge, skills and abilities to work with the field crew to come up with an optimal plan on repairing/cutting down of weather damaged tanks -Providing environmental input into look-ahead plans and reports based on schedule. -Provide SME support to company HSES training programs, including development and delivery -Conduct daily environmental and safety inspections and observations to ensure employees’ daily adherence to JSA/SOP and maintain all applicable permit postings at the shop. -Lead in internal environmental audit plans, oversees audits from regulatory auditors. -Oversite of subcontractor start-up on jobsite -Support master service agreements with applicable service providers. -Track permit requirements for sites to ensure timely submissions.

What You Bring
-Business presence and polish -Exceptional communication and presentation skill, both written and verbal -10+ years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPC project delivery -Comprehensive knowledge, training and certification in relevant statutory regulations including OSHA Construction & General Industry Standards, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control, HSE induction/training requirements, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Mobile Crane & Rigging Safety, Hazardous Materials Management -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Experienced Trainer for Miller Safe Escape, Basic Rigging, Mobile Crane and other equipment -Proven negotiating ability with high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills -Familiarization with all company and project specific HSES terms, requirements and project deliverables. -Mentally agile and ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines -Adaptability and agility to learn and contribute in varying and complex environments -Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management level -Trained incident investigation and reporting skills. -Demonstrated business partnering skills with the ability to influence the organization -Knowledge of CB&I products and markets -A mature business and technical acumen coupled with a drive to achieve results -LTI/RWDC Rate against Targets -Be conversant with local, State, and Federal Environmental laws, codes, and regulations -Ability to conduct client meeting with Sales and/or Operations
