Architectural Tech II

Overview

Prepare architectural plans, assist design managers, and produce drawings using Revit.

Key Responsibilities

• design integration

Tasks

-Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval. -Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment. -Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors. -May periodically assist design managers in conducting on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans. -Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities. -Prepares studies and reports. -May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals.

What You Bring

-Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred and experience producing architectural drawings is required. -Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, design software and e-mail. -Physically present in the Lexington office. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a degree from a technical college and one to two (1-2) years of experience; or the equivalent combination both
