Tasks

-Generate standard cost reports for project stakeholders. -Conduct contract and commercial analysis to assess financial impacts. -Report writing and scenario evaluation -Applying historical and current project trends to influence decision-making. -Maintaining data integrity and system accuracy. -Perform analytics including, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Earned Value Management, Forecasting, Scenario evaluation -Maintain system accuracy and ensure data integrity. -Acts as a Work Leader and Supervisor, assigning tasks and overseeing performance. -Create ad hoc reports to support project decision-making. -Communicating project health effectively using standardized tools and methods. -Participates in hiring, performance evaluations, and salary reviews. -Communicate project status effectively using standardized tools and methods -Guide the cost team in developing and adjusting reports that reflect project health. -Lead and facilitate meetings with Project Management Teams & Executive Leadership -Apply historical and current project trends to influence cost-related decisions. -Delegate tasks efficiently and identify team needs proactively. -Guiding project leadership with a cost-focused mindset. -Ensuring accurate and timely cost reporting and forecasting. -Supervises 2+ team members. -Supporting contract and commercial analysis to optimize project financial performance. -Ensure professional execution of cost management responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Bring

-Required: High School Diploma or GED -Required: Over 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. -Accuracy and data integrity -General office environment with occasional exposure to construction site conditions. -Use of statistical software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) -Preferred: Over 7 to 10 years of experience in cost management within engineering, procurement, and construction environments. -Requires close vision, color perception, and ability to adjust focus. -Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university, or Master’s degree (M.A.) with exposure to advanced statistical analysis and construction management practices. -Fast-paced and variable work environment. -Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. -Oral and written communication -Problem-solving and analytical thinking -Frequent use of computers, calculators, printers, and other office equipment. -Familiarity with project management tools (P6, CMIS, Contract Manager, ConstructSim)
