Tasks
- Valuations and processing payments. - Providing cost estimates. - Carrying out the full tender process. - Collating tender documentation. - Attending site visits and project team meetings. - Budget management and cost reporting. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be accountable for the commercial management of various new build residential projects across East Anglia reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.

What You Bring
- Subcontractor appraisal and assessment. - Good knowledge of Quantity Surveying practices and procedures. If you are an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for the next step in your career; or are a Quantity Surveyor looking for a change; then please do get in touch. - Previous experience in new build residential sector (preferred). - Computer literate with competency in Microsoft packages. - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (BSc) or similar (HNC/HND). Due to planned growth we are seeking a motivated, highly driven, and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team at our head offices in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3WD. - Knowledge of COINS (preferred). - A good understanding of construction practices and contractual procedures. - Variation control and management. - The ability to work as part of a team, but also be disciplined and self-motivated to manage individual workload to strict deadlines. You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
