Tasks

-Serve as a technical mentor and manager, guiding a high-performing team and fostering career growth. -Monitor and analyze product warranty and service history trends. Conduct root cause analysis on systemic issues. -Take ownership of engineering BOM of ETO (engineer to order) orders -Build/own COE Engineering processes for activities such as, change requests, design deviations, training, and design guides -Manage communications with Product Line Engineering, BidMan Team, AE’s, and product management -Drive continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce cycle time. -Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve factory and field service challenges with agility and precision. -Drive business objectives / improvements impacting product line-wide measures

What You Bring

-Minimum 5 years of engineering work experience in a manufacturing environment -Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university -Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. -Minimum of ten (8) years of experience in design and manufacturing processes -Minimum 3 year of managing a team -Fabrication methods for sheetmetal, plastic, copper, and aluminum -UL 50, UL 891, ANSI and NEMA standards -Minimum of five (3) years of experience with power distribution equipment -Minimum 3 years of Custom Order Engineering experience -Design for Six Sigma with examples of practical application -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
