The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager and Superintendent across both office and field operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to wood-frame superstructure sequencing, facade coordination, MEP integration in stick-frame conditions, and interiors through project completion. Clear growth track to Project Manager.

  • Contribute to preconstruction efforts including budgeting, procurement, and contract execution
  • Assist with punch lists, TCO process, and project closeout
  • Build long-term projects in your backyard - no NYC commuting
  • Coordinate DOB filings, permitting, utility connections, and sign-offs
  • Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Participate in project meetings, progress reporting, and requisition packages
  • Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or critical path issues
  • Support design reviews, drawing coordination, and compliance with NYC codes and regulations
  • Assist in day-to-day oversight of active job sites in coordination with field staff and subcontractors

Location: Rockland County, NY (Local travel to project sites in Rockland/Lower Hudson Valley)

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only

  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to project sites
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
  • Stable pipeline of upcoming ground-up residential work
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and basic scheduling software
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, scopes of work, and subcontractor coordination
  • Hands-on training with direct exposure to field and project management
  • 2-4 years' experience in ground-up multifamily construction, preferably wood-frame / stick-built
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills; able to work independently and as part of a tight-knit team
