Tasks

-Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers -Lead engineering efforts focused on scaling and optimizing our trading systems across multiple energy markets -Develop new and improve existing proprietary trading technology for risk management, P&L tracking, and weather forecasting -Work closely with quants and traders, putting trading strategies into production and building new tools -Ensure seamless integration between trading operations and retail customer platforms (usage data, billing, tariff management) -Build and maintain integrations with exchanges and data providers

What You Bring

-Track record of setting technical vision and aligning engineering initiatives with broader business goals -5+ years of experience as a software engineer, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role -Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and event-driven architectures -Proven track record as a senior software engineer, tech lead, or engineering manager within trading -Strong understanding of trading system architecture, including market data ingestion, execution engines, pricing, and risk systems
