-Supervise and coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate installation of mechanical systems and equipment. -Implement quality control measures for mechanical systems to ensure performance, reliability, and safety. -Conduct inspections and evaluations of mechanical components to ensure proper operation and installation. -Oversee mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations. -Ensure all mechanical work complies with local, state, and federal codes, and assist with securing necessary permits when required. -Conduct safety assessments and ensure mechanical work adheres to project safety protocols. -Stay current with industry advancements, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering. -Resolve on-site mechanical issues efficiently and effectively. -Collaborate closely with other engineers, design professionals, and project teams to meet deadlines and budget requirements. -Develop mechanical specifications and performance requirements for equipment and piping systems. -Oversee testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, verifying their functionality and performance prior to project handover. -Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
-Strong understanding of mechanical systems including piping, HVAC, and process equipment. -Experience in water or wastewater treatment construction is preferred. -Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects. -Familiarity with industry standards, mechanical codes, and regulations. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Effective communication and teamwork skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
