Tasks

Ensures full compliance with company policies, standards, and local content requirements while applying best practices across all projects to optimize value creation and operational efficiency. Coordinates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery. Responsible for leading procurement and contracting activities for major projects within KSA and internationally. The role focuses on developing and implementing sourcing strategies for project bidding, procurement of major equipment, and preparation of procurement and construction packages. -Lead contract negotiations, manage claims, disputes, and contract amendments. -Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal departments. -Build and sustain professional relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers. -Contribute to the company’s overall strategic objectives through effective procurement and contracting management. -Implement best practices and lessons learned to improve performance and value. -Drive continuous improvement and leverage competition to achieve cost efficiency. -Ensure transparency and alignment among all stakeholders. -Provide project-specific contracting strategies and consultation to managers and project teams. -Ensure full compliance with project contracts, policies, and delegation of authority. -Enhance local content and ensure alignment with organizational strategy. -Support new project teams in understanding procurement processes and procedures. -Coordinate with Legal Counsel for high-value or complex contractual matters. -Secure the most effective sourcing and contracting strategies.

What You Bring

-Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and customer relationship skills. -Deep understanding of supply chain policies, supplier qualification, and performance management. -Strong expertise in procurement, subcontracting, and project management for large-scale industrial projects. -15–20 years of experience in procurement and contracting within industrial, petrochemical, or mining sectors. -Proven leadership and team management capabilities. -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. -Ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings.
