Tasks

-Assist with payroll processing by reviewing timecards and employee records. -Assist with sales tax, income tax, and other tax-related duties. -Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation. -Verify and match bank transactions to company records. -Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. -Help organize and maintain accounting files and documentation. -Assist with entering financial data into accounting software. -Support special accounting and finance projects as needed. -Assist in the preparation and review of accounts payable and receivable. -Help maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. -Help prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting. -Help maintain payroll-related documents and assist in reconciling payroll accounts. -Support the team in posting journal entries and updating the general ledger. -Provide general assistance to the accounting team and perform other duties as assigned. -Assist with bank reconciliation processes. -Assist with tracking expenses and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. -Provide support during audits by gathering necessary financial documents and records. -Help gather and organize documents for tax reporting and compliance. -Prepare supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. -Assist with Audits:

What You Bring

-Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. -Attention to detail and organizational skills. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (basic to intermediate knowledge). -Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP. -Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus. -Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
