The Role

Overview

Develop and maintain BIM models for data centre projects, ensuring coordination and standards compliance.

Tasks

-Create and maintain accurate BIM models using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks & ACC. -Generate 2D drawings and 3D visualizations from BIM models to support project documentation and client presentations. -Ensure adherence to Eaton’s governance framework and industry best practices. -Support the implementation of BIM workflows that improve design efficiency and collaboration. -Support the integration of Eaton products into BIM object libraries for data centre projects. -Assist in testing and deploying new BIM tools and digital solutions tailored to data centre applications. -Ensure all deliverables meet Eaton’s BIM standards and project-specific requirements. -Support quality control efforts by flagging inconsistencies and coordinating corrections with relevant teams. -Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). -Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure models reflect current specifications and project requirements. -Assist in clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution across disciplines. -Maintain version control and documentation of BIM files throughout the project lifecycle. -Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes by identifying opportunities for automation and standardization.

What You Bring

-Detailed induction support and well-structured onboarding -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks is essential. Familiarity with ACC would be a big advantage. -Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or a related technical field. -Effective communicator and team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving. -Fluent in English. -Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -2-3 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably in data centre or industrial projects. -Familiarity with BIM standards, workflows, and object library development. -Strong processes and state-of-the-art systems and tools
