Tasks

As a senior member of the discipline, you’ll also mentor emerging engineers, contribute to business development and represent Lucid at industry events and forums. You’ll join a multidisciplinary national team, collaborating with project leaders and clients to deliver design excellence and innovation. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own projects from concept through to completion while helping grow our Sydney Electrical team. Based in our Sydney office, this role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality electrical design solutions across diverse and complex projects including commercial, health, education, defence and major infrastructure. -Build strong client and contractor relationships -Can manage electrical projects through all stages of design and delivery -Lead and deliver electrical design projects with a focus on technical excellence -Prepare fee proposals and contribute to business development opportunities -Support and mentor junior and graduate engineers -Attend site inspections, meetings and industry events as a Lucid representative -Provide design certification and QA review in line with Lucid policies

What You Bring

-Has an Australian-recognised degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trade background -Holds or is eligible for registrations such as CPEng, NER, RPEQ or QBCC Designer’s Licence -Understands Australian Standards, NCC and relevant industry codes -Communicates clearly and builds strong professional relationships -Is proficient with engineering and design software including Revit
