-Manage stakeholder relationships and customer enquiries -Ensure effective communication across internal and external parties -Support contract administration including reporting and document control -Assist with planning and coordination of contract deliverables

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word -Self-motivated and proactive -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Experience with CRMS, RAMM, CAR Manager or RADAR (desirable) -Experience in administration with attention to detail -Full Class 1 Driver Licence

The Company

About Higgins

-Founded in Manawatū in 1958 by an Irish immigrant, the firm expanded from a small drainage-and-road repair company into a national civil construction leader. -In the 2000s, the firm expanded its operations north and south, acquiring quarries and concrete plants while also venturing into major roading alliances, contributing to motorway links and wind farms. -Grew significantly in the 2010s through large-scale projects, including rebuilding one of New Zealand’s largest road slips and securing Fijian road maintenance contracts. -Today, it provides asphalt and bitumen products, constructs specialized equipment like bitumen sprayers, and offers services ranging from road maintenance to traffic management and more. -Operates nationally in New Zealand and internationally in the Pacific, supporting its work with on-site laboratories and specialized engineering. -A notable achievement was addressing New Zealand’s largest-ever road slip in Manawatū Gorge during the 2010s, in collaboration with local authorities and consultants.
