The Role

Overview

Oversee multiple construction projects, managing teams, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relations.

Tasks

Leads, directs and coordinates the overall management of multiple projects. -Work with accounting to initiate pay application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner. -Establish and maintain procedures with the design professionals, consultants, owner and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings, reporting, applications for payment, etc. -Manage and oversee field operation and engineering processes and procedures. -Ensure regular feedback is shared with staff including timely completion of employee performance reviews. -Responsible for managing financial status of the project including preparation of project status and accuracy of financial reports. -May work with pre-construction team in development of project. -Keep management informed on progress of project and budget through regularly scheduled Operation Review Meetings. -Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to insure adherence to project budget. -Drive competencies to team on requirements for insurance, labor relations, and employee relations. -Foster and enhance owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations. -Drive enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff. -Manage a high-performance team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. -Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions. -Establish, update, and communicate Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation. -Understand and administer Rodan’s contract and subcontract agreements.

What You Bring

-Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam). -Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. -Experience managing public works projects -OSHA 30 certification (preferred or required depending on the organization). -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. -Atleast 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with a general contractor or construction management firm. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). -Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
