AC Startup Warranty Technician

Overview

Perform HVAC startup, warranty service, troubleshooting, and customer sales support.

Tasks

-Diagnose & correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns for repairs. -Provide constant feedback related to our competition and our current standings in the marketplace. -Assess the needs of our customers and offer all appropriate products and services. -Troubleshoot single and Three-phase installations. -Build strong relationships with our vendor partners to ensure we have the most current information available. -Working On call schedules and long hours -This position will also handle product registration for retail and retail new construction new installations. -Create and maintain a database of all leads through retail, retail new construction, and product registration. -Check heating & cooling equipment is installed correctly and verify cooling and heating operations (pitch on drain lines, coils etc.)

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times. -Previous “In House Sales “experience. -High school diploma or equivalent required -Must have reliable HVAC tools -Customer Service skills. -One year minimum residential field experience required. -Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations. -Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Must be able to Multitask. -Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues. -Excellent critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills. -High Quality Organizational skills. -Ability to network and build relationships within our communities. -EPA Certification: Preferred. -Able to access In and out of attics. -Must be able to Pass drug Screen. -Ability to work well under pressure and while facing deadlines and other adversities.
