Tasks

This role offers the opportunity to shape high-quality architectural outcomes, mentor junior team members, and collaborate across disciplines. You will also play a key role in legacy-building initiatives as we leverage the momentum of major infrastructure projects ahead of the upcoming 2032 Olympic Games.The Opportunity -Lead architectural design and delivery across a range of sectors, including transport, infrastructure, and public realm. -Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, contributing to project strategy, design development, and delivery. -Support the growth of Arup’s architectural presence in Queensland by championing quality, total design principles, and strong collaboration across APAC. -Take accountability for project or package delivery, supervising and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs while driving integration and collaboration across teams. -Foster a culture of design excellence and teamwork through a positive, solutionsfocused approach that supports quality outcomes and a healthy working environment

What You Bring

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Architect to join our Brisbane-based Architecture team. The ideal candidate will bring strong design and technical capability in the delivery of transport architecture and will lead and contribute to multidisciplinary design projects across Australia and New Zealand—from concept through to delivery. -Demonstrated capability in delivering complex architectural projects in a consulting environment, including experience on rail and transportfocused projects. -Minimum of 10 years’ experience, with registration as an Architect in Queensland. -Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills. -Strong design and technical skills, with proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, and other leading design softwares. -Strong understanding of building design processes, legislation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
