Tasks

-Enforce site H&S protocols and assist in toolbox talks and safety audits. -Perform setting out, levelling, and surveying using GPS, total stations, and other instruments. -Resolve on-site technical issues promptly. -Support site planning, materials scheduling, and resource allocation. -Ensure accurate interpretation of construction drawings and specifications. -Identify and report any potential hazards or non-compliance. -Support site management with day-to-day supervision of operations. -Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and site reports. -Maintain accurate site records including QA documentation, as-built drawings, and checklists. -Conduct inspections to ensure works comply with design, standards, and project requirements. -Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and consultants. -Monitor progress against programme and report discrepancies to the Site Manager.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our project team in North Dublin. The successful candidate will support the delivery of construction activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. -Full clean driver’s licence. -Previous experience on projects in Dublin or surrounding areas. -Knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and CIF guidelines. -Background in residential, commercial, infrastructure, or civils construction. -Strong understanding of Irish construction standards, TGD, building regs, and BCAR (an advantage). -Excellent communication and coordination skills. -Experience working with main contractors or specialist subcontractors. -Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline. -Proficiency with AutoCAD, GPS, Total Station, and other surveying technologies. -1–5+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer (depending on project level).
