Tasks

This position plans, directs, and coordinates activities of self and one direct report to support the surveying needs of heavy construction projects. Conducts all work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and programs under the direction of the Survey Manager. -Managing a crew and fulfilling schedule obligations. -Coordinate with Operations on the projects needs for equipment and labor. -Participates as required with the in-house pre-construction planning procedure and development of the project schedule and meets with the owner or the owner representative. -Learns all the details of the plans and specifications of the project assigned. Partner with project team supervision to prioritize tasks. -Ensures customer satisfaction in all Customer and Inspector relations and interactions.

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required; additional construction-related course work desirable. -Minimum of 5 years of survey experience in a heavy civil construction environment. -Valid driver’s license required. -Demonstrates experience in construction site/heavy civil layout. -Terramodel, Trimble Business Center and Trimble GPS experience a must
