Tasks

You’ll also lead a small but talented bid team, ensuring consistency, compliance, and winning outcomes. We’re looking for a strategic and creative professional to write, manage, and lead high-value bids and tenders that help us win major contracts in the social housing and refurbishment sector. -Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing bid team -Design and implement bid strategies for construction and social housing projects -Write and manage winning bids and tenders from start to finish -Analyse win/loss feedback to improve bid success continually -Collaborate closely with Business Development, Operations, and other stakeholders -Drive process improvements and ensure compliance and consistency

What You Bring

Location: Bracknell (3 days in the office, 2 remote) – candidates in Hemel Hempstead or Swanley considered Are you an experienced Bid Manager or Senior Bid Writer with a strong track record in construction or social housing? -Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours for deadlines -Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop a team -Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple deadlines -Proven experience writing and managing successful bids in the construction or social housing sector (essential) -Trained Mental Health First Aiders support -Proactive, solution-focused approach and attention to detail -Relevant professional qualifications -Excellent understanding of UK procurement regulations and processes -Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle -Degree-level education or equivalent -Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills
