Tasks

-Track and assess change orders, variations, and scope adjustments for cost impact. -Work closely with planning, scheduling, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure cost data accuracy. -Provide early warning reports and recommendations to mitigate cost overruns. -Align cost forecasts with progress measurement and earned value data. -Interface with project management, procurement, and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy. -Maintain cost control databases and software (e.g., SAP, Primavera Cost Manager, EcoSys). -Support project management in forecasting final project cost and margin outcomes. -Identify and analyze cost variances, trends, and deviations from planned budgets. -Develop, implement, and maintain project cost control systems, procedures, and reports. -Monitor commitments, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure compliance with approved budgets. -Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete analyses. -Support continuous improvement initiatives in cost control methodologies and reporting tools. -Support contract and commercial teams with cost substantiation and claims analysis. -Present detailed cost summaries and variance analyses to project and corporate management. -Establish the project budget baseline based on approved estimates and work breakdown structures (WBS). -Participate in project review meetings and ensure financial transparency. -Update budgets and forecasts accordingly upon change approval.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of project cost structures, EPCI contracts, and change management processes. -Familiarity with project controls software (e.g., SAP, EcoSys, Primavera, Excel advanced level). -Minimum 8–12 years of cost control experience, including 5+ years in offshore oil & gas, FPSO, or EPCI projects. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field. -Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar project budgets.
