Tasks

-Work closely with internal staff on design projects, design plans, and specifications for urban and rural public/private roadways, which may include grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and sanitary sewers. -Prepare plans, specifications, and design-related documents with the supervision and guidance of the project manager. -Work with city, county, and state regulatory or reviewing authorities to identify appropriate design criteria and limitation

What You Bring

-Ten years of progressively responsible experience -Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic computations, computer modeling, and presentation of results. -Registered Professional Civil Engineer License in the State of Nebraska -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an EAC/ABET, CEAB-accredited engineering program, or program that meets the NCEES Engineering Education Standard -Knowledge of Nebraska Department of Transportation roadway requirements -Registered Professional Civil Engineer -Six years of progressively responsible experience -Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills -Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office & MicroStation including OpenRoads/GEOPAK software
