Assist in managing NYC school construction projects, permits, and documentation.

Tasks

-May be required to work closely with Plan Examiners in reviewing documents for City Building Code and for guaranteeing compliance. -Assist Project Officers in overseeing work performed across various school projects in New York City. -Review documents submitted for City required building and other permits for completeness and accuracy. -Provide support to permit applicants in completing the filing procedure with various City agencies. -Deliver documents to various city agencies for data entry, review and/or approval. -Maintain database of information, both physically and digitally, ensuring all information is readily available for review and audit. -Research existing building status from City records at various agencies.

What You Bring

-A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college related to construction management, architecture, or engineering; or an Associate's Degree and 2 years of experience In construction management, Inspection, and/or monitoring of construction projects. -Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken) -Strong computer skills with MS Office, AutoCAD required. Additional experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant construction software preferred. -Must be authorized to work in the United States -Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
