Overview
Inspect and test soils on construction sites according to ICC standards

Tasks
-Collect and prepare soil samples for laboratory analysis. -Conduct soil compaction testing using nuclear density gauge. -Observe and verify soil-related construction activities for compliance with project. specifications and applicable codes. -Perform standard Proctor and modified Proctor tests. -Document daily observations, test results, and any non-conformances in detailed field reports. -Perform field inspections and testing of soils in accordance with ICC Soils Special Inspection standards. -Communicate findings and progress with project managers and engineers.

What You Bring
-Must hold current ICC Soils Special Inspector certification. -Field experience preferred. -High school diploma or equivalent required. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Ability to document daily field activities clearly and professionally. -Must be able to travel to job sites within El Paso, TX. -ICC Soils Special Inspector certification. -Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams. -Experience completing inspection reports accurately and on time.
