Tasks

-Prepare and submit reports and correspondence required by local, state and federal agencies to meet legislative requirements. -Ensure site management knowledge of licence and permit conditions and responsibilities is well understood through incident reporting, delivery of environmental training and support to ongoing change initiatives -Respond to environmental incidents and manage the corresponding regulator interactions -Identification, investigation and mitigation of environmental and compliance events across operations -Manage ongoing environmental monitoring (collection, analysis and reporting) in accordance with legislative responsibilities -Obtain and deliver environmental approvals and amendments in line with legislative requirements -Manage site environmental management plans to ensure compliance

What You Bring

-Experience in a similar role with exposure to environmental monitoring -Strong attention to detail -Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations particularly the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 , POEO Act 1997, and the Environment Protection Act 2017 -Proven ability to analyse reports and data -Strong stakeholder management skills
