The Role

Overview

Lead maintenance across 5 hotels, ensure compliance, manage budget, staff and repairs.

Tasks

-Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs. -Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems. -Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, Disability legislation, and other relevant regulations. Ensure your team is trained to meet these requirements. -Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary. -Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations across five hotels. -Ensure all department workers adhere to safety policies and procedures. -Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance. -Plan and manage all repair and installation activities. -Create and implement maintenance procedures. -Will lead the team of exiting managers/assistant managers and supervisors across the Zedwell properties, ensuring development and leadership. -Comply with your responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. -Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s operational. -Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance. -HNC/HND in an engineering discipline preferred. -Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. -Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. -Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment. -Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
