Tasks

-Work in outdoor weather conditions or unconditioned areas -Move through construction and existing building sites over rough terrain -Identify and resolve issues -See and respond to dangerous situations -Ascend and descend ladders and stairs -Coordinate professionals of varying disciplines -Estimate, manage costs, and meet project deadlines -Travel to job sites as needed, up to 50% -Communicate updates, changes, and concerns in a clear and organized manner , written or verbal -Manage large-scale construction project ( s ) through the entire life-cycle . Projects include most commercial building types, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and hotel/hospitality.

What You Bring

-Position requires Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or closely related field that offers the level of experience required -Must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures, all project delivery methods and contracting vehicles -Lift up to 40 pounds (ladders) -Experience as a consultant involved in forensic work advantageous -Willingness to travel up to 50% -Operate a computer and other related office equipment, and possess visual acuity to read information from printed sources and computer screens -Must have strong skills in project management, including time management, client communication and management and safety. Experience in estimating, scheduling, cost management and project takeoffs are a big plus -Relevant experience with degrees mentioned above, ten years of experience with a related degree may be considered -Ability to coordinate a team of professionals of varying disciplines to achieve top level results -Required skills include: Strong communications skills, strong construction experience, senior level experience in Microsoft Suite of software tools, ability to learn new software programs related to our services -Respond quickly to sounds -6-9 years of Construction Management or Construction related Project Management -Leverage knowledge of construction methodologies , project delivery, and contracts -Must have excellent presentation skills -Preferred credentials include: PMP or CCM Certification or MRICS certification (project management) -Move safely through confined spaces and narrow paths -Must have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making abilities -Strong organizational skills -Ability to market our services to clients -Travel approximately 50% of the time both in and out of state
