Tasks
Position Summary: Lead and provide engineering support for product design and development line extensions, managing aggressive time-to-market requirements and integrating a customer-centric approach. -Handle non-conforming material review requests from Supply Chain and Quality -Review supplier identified issues and determine resolution of materials -Assist Product Support in provide engineering solutions to customer field issues -Work within SolidWorks to make design and drawing updates when necessary -Collaborate with all departments to partner with others in achieving optional project outcomes -Use Syteline to manage BOM changes related to product improvements and material availability -Review vendor change requests and update design data when appropriate -Create new finished good part numbers for customer orders -Work with Planning and Supply Chain to find alternate solutions to materials to maintain on time delivery -Implement product improvements across released product families -Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering for pilot jobs during implementation of new product changes -Facilitiate with Customer Service team on special project requirements to find solutions for the customer -Liase with Quality for FAS review when needed for alternates or new items -Support production issues related to engineering design

What You Bring
-Experience with Syteline ERP software -Positive and cheerful demeanor -1+ years of experience in computer software (Word, Excel, Power Point) -Ability to demonstrate productive creativity within the parameters of the project -Highly proficient with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent) -Associate degree (technical) with mechanical/electrical experience -Well organized and great at multitasking -Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Power Point -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university -Basic experience with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent) -Basic ERP software experience -Quick learner and driven -Ability to work within tight time frames -Familiar with Bills of Materials.
