Tasks

-Designing and checking structural solutions for precast products – from manufacture and lifting to installation. -Providing value engineering to balance safety, cost, and sustainability. -Collaborate with production and bid teams to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable designs. -Be at the forefront of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) in the UK. -Supporting tender and pre-construction teams with structural input. -Work on bespoke precast solutions across building structures, facades, and infrastructure. -Working across disciplines to develop products that meet client needs while maximising efficiency.

What You Bring

-Degree-level Engineering qualification. -Experience with design/analysis tools (e.g. TEDDS, Scia Engineer). -At least 2 years' experience in structural design. -Proactive and collaborative mindset. -Coding/scripting skills (e.g. Grasshopper, Dynamo, Solibri). -Structural steel design experience. -Experience in reinforced concrete design. -Strong problem-solving skills and confidence to deliver safe designs. -Innovating in materials and design to reduce carbon and waste. -Concrete reinforcement detailing knowledge. -CAD / Revit skills and an interest in extending your digital knowledge.
