Tasks

What we need: Under the direction of the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, you will work directly with customers to help put this technology on the road. -Develop deal structures and support negotiating contracts and agreements with customers and partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and value proposition -Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and closing deals to meet and exceed targets -Developing and executing a comprehensive sales and partnership strategy for the energy storage market, including identifying target customers, segments, and regions -Establishing and enhancing the company's brand awareness and reputation -Work cross-functionally to understand details of the internal technical status and direction with various technical teams across QuantumScape which will require in person discussion -Collaborate and maintain relationships with company leadership to formulate and execute a go-to-market strategy

What You Bring

-B.S. in Technical or Business Field and a minimum of 12 years' industry -Fluency in written & spoken German and/or Japanese -Strong technical and business acumen -This role will require international travel -Strong attention to detail -Preference to candidates with experience in energy storage and/or clean energy -Experience in a customer-facing role establishing and building meaningful relationships with new perspective customers
