Tasks

-Collaborate with BI developers, DBA, researchers, and IT in enhancing existing projects or data structures, and resolving project and programming issues -Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture -Act as a subject matter expert for the ETL architecture for the EDW -Participating on requirement gathering, analysis and technical design -Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis -Troubleshooting any issues that may arise -Designing and coding the data warehousing system to desired company specifications -Responsible for analyzing customer requirements and creating web-based applications in Azure -Design, Develop and support Cloud-Native applications and API development using NET, NET Core and Containers (preferred) -Analyzes operational data, monitoring key operations metrics, managing the governance process around key operations metrics, and providing recommendations on process improvements -Responsible for creating and maintaining analysis and reporting -Develop workflow solutions to simplify processes and remove manual dependencies (preferred) -Responsible to creating and adhering to standard operating procedures and standards for data and web application related activities -Collecting and adhering to business requirements for reporting deliverables -Responsible for extracting, transforming, and creating connections to various data sources for Business Intelligence (preferred) -Testing the new storage system once all the data has been transferred -Develops and maintains monthly dashboards of key operational performance indicators, incorporating data from multiple internal and external sources and communicates results to leadership -Consulting with data management teams to get a big-picture idea of the company’s data storage needs -Work with Agile team members to document and execute test plans for data loading and data validation scripts -Develop PL/SQL store procedures used by front-end and middle-tier developers -Providing maintenance support -Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted -Responsible for converting existing reporting to automated dashboards -Develop client displays and user interfaces -Presenting the company with warehousing options based on their storage needs -Developing multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards (preferred) -Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment -Creating, deploying, configuring and scaling applications on Azure PaaS (preferred) -Develop T-SQL queries, scripts and store procedures used for extracting, validating, transforming, and loading data provide by clients -Develop T-SQL store procedures for checking integrity constraints and database updates -Responsible to creating and adhering to standard operating procedures and standards for all data related activities -Create and test software prototypes

What You Bring

-Minimum 5 years Azure platform and related Azure products preferred -Experience working with IT and Project Managers preferred -Strong understanding of Cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as IaaS/SaaS/PaaS, load balancing, storage, etc. preferred -Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSMS, SQL Server, Visio & other Microsoft Office programs -Well versed with Azure or other GIT repositories -Strong project management skills -Use and adapt existing web applications for apps (preferred) -Proficient with Data Analysis Expression (DAX) queries -In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Platform Web Development (IIS, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, SharePoint, Windows Server, Clustering, Active Directory etc.) preferred -At least 21 years of age -Good knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, VNET, NSG Rules, VPN Gateways and Express Route) -Experience using ServiceNow and the Performance Analytics module preferred -Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related Business discipline, or equivalent business experience -Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust -Proven work experience as an ETL developer -Hands on experience in implementing RESTful webservices and SOAP services in cloud preferred -Hands on experience on Azure storage services like SQL DB, Tables, Files and Blobs -Hands on experience on Azure App Service Model (Web Apps and Web Jobs) -Knowledge of networking engineering including DNS, Active Directory, Firewall, Load balancers preferred -Well versed with Azure offerings with work experience on Web apps, ASE, ASP, function apps, SQL PaaS, Storage accounts -Experience working with financial data from key gaming and hospitality applications such as Stratton Warren, Infinium, Cognos, and Ariba preferred -Understand business requirements and data models while taking care of the sources -Able to travel as needed to support a global organization -Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques, including MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, and EDW -Experience creating Power BI dashboards -Experience in development and supporting enterprise applications -Minimum 5 years of CI/CD, DevOps experience preferred -Proof of authorization to work in the United States -Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience -Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems -Minimum 3 years Analytics experience preferred -Utilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the job -Azure Data Factory experience preferred -Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation
