Tasks

Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing emergency preparedness programs across NGHC operations. Ensures alignment with national safety standards. Acts as the main liaison with internal departments and external civil defense entities. The Emergency Preparedness Specialist ensures the organization’s readiness for emergency situations by planning, coordinating, and executing emergency drills and maintaining comprehensive emergency response procedures. This role supports compliance with safety standards and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to enhance emergency preparedness. -Prepare and review internal emergency response plans for each operational department and ensure their effectiveness. -Conduct tabletop drills for each shift in operations and maintenance. -Manage and maintain the Emergency Control Center. -Develop medical service policies and standards. -Share drill reports with participating entities, including observations, recommendations, and lessons learned. -Prepare and review emergency response plans for the emergency services department and ensure their effectiveness. -Conduct drills in maintenance, operations, and buildings inside and outside operational zones: -Develop and update policies and procedures related to emergency preparedness and response (e.g., hazardous materials, biological threats, pandemics). -Prepare detailed reports documenting schedules, observations, and actions. -Prepare and review comprehensive company-wide emergency response plans in alignment. with national emergency frameworks.

What You Bring

20 years (with high school) or 16 years (with firefighting diploma). Multiple recognized specialized courses in emergency preparedness or related fields. -Excellent teamwork and customer service orientation. -High school or a firefighting diploma. -Proficiency in English (spoken and written). -Proficiency in MS Office. -Effective time management and report writing skills. -Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness practices.
