Assist construction management with admin tasks, documentation, scheduling, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Participating in toolbox meetings, safety meetings and safety training -Assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordinating on jobsite. -Assisting site management staff with numerous administrative duties. -Distributing Drawings to Trades. -Assisting in communications with the large group of contractors and consultants. -Maintaining and organizing files. -Coordinating and maintaining current records of drawings and consultant revision notices. -Keeping track of Site Equipment and Small Equipment Rentals. -Assisting with quantity take- offs from drawings as required. -Issuing Purchase Orders for all material suppliers. -Keeping track of Concrete and Rebar count and entry. -Responsible for Completions of Deficiencies. -Printing and distributing Deficiencies for Trades to complete. -Liaising with clients, sub- contractors, and internal departments -Recording site minutes of meetings. -Responsible for updating and keeping track of Construction Schedule.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license and vehicle would be beneficial. -Ability to perform in a fast-paced construction environment. -Strong and effective communication, writing, and computer skills are essential. -Good organizational skills, as well as attention to detail. -Must be currently enrolled in a Canadian Post- Secondary institution with a focus in Construction Management, or relevant.
