What You Bring

-Capacity to support research and development efforts aimed at innovating next-generation algorithms -Experience with power system modeling and knowledge with use of distribution power system analysis and power flow software such as CYME, Synergi Electric, OpenDSS, etc. -Experience with handling and interpreting large datasets effectively -Effective communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills; math and technical aptitude -Effectively interact and work in a team environment; attention to detail; understand and apply workflow processes -Experience writing scripts, macros, or code to develop tools to automate work processes including analysis software and programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Tableau, PowerBI, etc. -Firm understanding of distribution systems and challenges with integrating DER systems -Must have earned a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field and be accepted to and working on a master’s or Ph.D. degree in engineering (preferred fields include electrical engineering) from an ABET accredited Engineering program at a four year or post-graduate college or university. -Must have a 2.5 GPA
