The Role
Overview
Lead design, manage, and deliver municipal water/wastewater projects.

Tasks
-Develops project scope, budgets, and delivery schedules for each assignment, and is responsible for ensuring tasks/projects are completed within budget and on schedule. -Works with other senior staff to manage clients in the region. -Supervises and supports the work of others and mentors junior level engineer & design/drafting technical staff. -Creates and manages cost estimates and project schedules. -Participates in industry conferences/associations at the local, state, and/or national level via committee memberships, presentations, and/or leadership roles. -Prepares construction packages (including all deliverables) for the engineering, procurement, and construction of water wastewater systems for clients. -Develops small to large design projects from inception to completion. -Maintains Arcadis’ standards and specifications for municipal water/wastewater design & construction projects. -Coordinates execution of projects with other disciplines. -Participates in marketing and business development activities for the water/wastewater market in the region. This includes the development of proposals.

What You Bring
-Experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. -10 years of progressively responsible experience -Ability to travel 10% - 20%. -Active participation in regional (local/state) and/or national professional associations -Experience in water/wastewater plant/facility design and construction administration/oversight projects. -Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills. -Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or an MBA -Client relationship skills: including preparation and development of proposals and client management experience with a successful record of accomplishment, delivering a variety of engineering projects that meet or exceed the expectations of the client. -15 years of progressively responsible experience -Staff development and supervision skills; including mentoring junior-level staff. -Performs detailed engineering calculations & analysis and utilizes design software to solve complex issues. CADD software knowledge is a plus, but CADD drafting is not required as part of this position. -Secondary certification (W/WW Operators License, BCEE, PMP, LEED, ENV SP) -Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field of study -Licensed Professional Engineer
