Tasks

-Serves as a guide and leader for the internal team, subcontractors and vendors. -Supervise and participate in various construction activities as assigned. -Ensure job site is clean and organized -Complete expense report when applicable -Assist superintendent in accomplishing their self-imposed punch list prior to OAC punch list -Meet the requirements to be able to drive company vehicles -Utilize a variety of hand/power tools and equipment -Secure Temporary Utilities (power, water, sewer) -Coordinate with the superintendent to ensure time is input correctly each pay period -Assist superintendent in setting up the job site -Hanging Doors and Hardware -Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications and operation guides -Load, unload, and maneuver a variety of materials, equipment, and tools -Assist superintendent in ensuring work is installed in accordance with contract documents and meets quality standards -Maintain a team-oriented environment and positively leads through challenges and obstacles -Add value to others by coaching, mentoring and sharing knowledge to grow the company from within -Perform basic mathematical calculations and layout for general construction activities -Assist in troubleshooting and proactively solving issues -Maintain positive relationships with all members of the project team -Participate in Kickoff Meeting if applicable -Train and mentor other Mavin employees -Enforce and comply with all company and project-required safety policies and procedures -Attend and participate fully in Internal Mavin Company meetings -Assist superintendent with paperwork as requested -Instruct and direct construction and maintenance employees as required. -Assist superintendent with maintaining a safe culture and job site -Ensure all appropriate PPE is available for each respective task -Quarterly Meetings -Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and operating

What You Bring

-Ability to read blueprints and specifications -Able to climb ladders -Able to lift 50 lbs -Touch-up Paint/Sheetrock -Obtain relevant certifications if required -Rough and Finish Carpentry -Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation to and from job sites -Decisive, Quality-Driven and Thorough -Safety Conscious -Minimum of 2 years of construction experience -Knowledge of at least one building trade and capable of performing that work without supervision -Relationship Oriented, Problem Solver -OSHA 30 Certification -Has general knowledge and ability to use small tools
