Tasks

-Analysing, collating and interpreting transport data -Attending internal and external client and team meetings -Client liaison and preparing fee proposals -Helping to develop and mentor junior team members -Ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget -Undertaking site visits -Producing signal junction layout designs and specifications -The design and implementation of other ITS Technologies, UTMC, UTC etc -Providing technical advice to support colleagues

What You Bring

-Experience in using micro-simulation models such as VISSIM and/or PARAMIC -Experience of developing and maintaining client relationships -Excellent written and oral communication skills -MOVA design, configuration and validation -Understanding client requirements for signal design and assessment -Competent user of AutoCAD and AutoTrack for junction design -Knowledge and application of Health and Safety and CDM -Previous UK work experience -A good understanding of current UK design standards and guidance -Methodical approach to problem solving and strong attention to detail -Full, clean UK driving licence and ideally access to a vehicle -Excellent working knowledge of LinSig & TRANSYT signal junction modelling theory and methods -Experience of using other junction modelling software (e.g. TRANSYT, Junctions9) -Knowledge of traffic data collection and analysis -Professional Membership (e.g. MIHE, MCIHT, MTPS or MCILT) -Strong team working capabilities -Ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis, reports and drawings -Experience of preparing traffic signal controller specifications and implementation -Degree or MSc in relevant subject (e.g. transport planning, civil engineering) -Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
