  • Assist shipping/receiving supervisor and/or clerks when need arises
  • Alert Master Scheduler at corporate of any product discrepancies in forecasting and planning
  • Maintain product analysis and product forecasting information
  • Responsible for ordering all Raw Materials associated with the manufacturing finished products at plant
  • Actively engage with Distribution Services Division Leader at corporate to ensure product variables such as safety stock, lot size, rounding value, etc. are continuously monitored and revised when applicable
  • Prepares master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each production order to meet shipping dates according to sales orders, production orders (planned orders converted to production orders), and stock transfers.
  • Responsible for ordering all Packaging Materials associated with the manufacturing finished products at plant
  • Assist other plant schedulers when need arise
  • Confers with Production Superintendent and Plant Manager to determine status of production
  • Work closely with customer service advocates to ensure receipt and shipment of sales orders
  • Responsible for monthly raw material inventory tracking
  • Submit orders to freight carrier(s) and schedules deliveries of raw materials
  • Prepares and distributes production orders for finished and semi-finished goods
  • Work in conjunction with production superintendent in establishing/determining production capacity
  • Establish schedule with Production Superintendent, and maintain product lead replenishment times
  • Creates purchase orders for all raw materials
  • Coordinate with Material Coordinator to ensure that raw material inventory meets product forecasting and scheduled production

  • The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
  • There are no supervisory responsibilities for direct reports for this position, but this person must have the skills to interact as a leader with all plant department employees.

  • The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
  • The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment
  • The ability to withstand the rigors of working a 12(or 8)-hour rotating shift schedule.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent
