Construction Laborer

Tasks

-Perform tasks at heights, including working on ladders, stilts, scaffolding, and structural beams. -Operate a range of tools and equipment, including power drills, demolition saws, skid steers, forklifts, sanders, hoists, and hand tools. -Work with materials including wood, drywall, plastic, and fiberglass. -Follow instructions from blueprints or site supervisors. -Maintains professionalism on site -Conduct regular checks to ensure all work meets building codes and project specifications. -Clean and prepare construction sites, including setting up and dismantling scaffolding, and removing debris and waste in accordance with site safety standards. -Use equipment or perform manual labor to load and unload construction supplies from trucks. -Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and report any safety concerns or violations immediately. -Load and unload materials, assist carpenters and equipment operators, and perform general site tasks as directed. -Shovel materials such as asphalt, concrete, dirt, and snow as required. -Maintain a clean and organized job site by storing materials properly, removing tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the area daily. -Report any incidents or injuries promptly to the Safety Director, Foreman, or HR following company reporting procedures.

-Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. -Willingness to follow instructions and learn on the job -High school diploma or equivalent preferred. -Must be 18 years of age or older. -Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or a related field. -Strong work ethic and reliability -Flexible and able to work overtime as needed -Punctual and dependable -Ability to work both independently and as part of a team -Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; must be willing to travel to job sites.
