Overview

Create and modify electrical/instrumentation drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.

Tasks

Support effective handover of drawings and related documentation. Adhere to drawing office standards, VAULT procedures, and quality controls. Prepare Single Line Diagrams, General Arrangements, Schematics, Block Plans, Layouts, Cable Ensure self-checking of work to minimize errors. Communicate changes promptly and professionally. Coordinate with engineers and project design teams to ensure accuracy and schedule alignment. May be required on occasion to lift and carry items such as files, documents, or small packages, typically up to 10 -20 pounds. Interpret instructions from engineers and drawing office management effectively. Report on drawing budget overruns and participate in cost-effective project delivery. While performing duties of this job, you may be required to stand, sit in a stationary position 50% of the time, alternate between sitting and standing, push/pull as necessary, reach overhead or below shoulder level, kneel, squat, or stoop. Produce and modify drawings in alignment with client, engineer, and project requirements. Deliver accurate drawings within the man-hour budget and project schedule.

What You Bring

Close visual acuity to perform activities such as reading, analyzing data, and working on a computer. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Racking and Routing, Block Diagrams, Connection Diagrams, Hook-Up Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, and Wiring Diagrams. Apply strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and related workflows. -5+ years with AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, Comos, or FDes -Technical knowledge in a multi-discipline environment -Strong understanding of drawing office standards -Diploma or higher in Electrical -5+ years with 3D Racking (AutoCAD or Revit) -Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 -Degree or BTech in Engineering -5+ years related experience with ECI drawings using AutoCAD -Experience in EPCM/Mining environment
