Tasks
-Drive a robust training program for manufacturing processes to support technical growth within the organization. -Own the strategic projects and technical solutions aligned to Combustion and Repair Roadmap to deliver on EHS, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget. -Be responsible and accountable to assist with problem-solving and continuous improvement -Implement, maintain, and continuously improve 5S methodology in assigned areas; drive culture change -Maintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality. -Lead technical breakthroughs that enable lean line transformations. -Support COE in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment capacity and other resources -Provide technical leadership and direction within the COE to achieve dramatic improvement in equipment operational availability, process first pass yield, process cycle time and cost reduction -Manage project decks and the CAPEX strategy to support overall readiness and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metrics. -Partner with NPI organization to develop, track, and implement new programs -Report performance and progress to senior business leadership -Lead cross-functional teams to execute LEAN transformation efforts to improve equipment layouts and material flow. -Support early integration of Lean principles in engineering solutions

What You Bring
-Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training -Experience with gas turbine repair operations and engineering -Strong attention to detail and accuracy -Prior experience as a process leader and with implementing productivity tools -Strong oral and written communication skills -Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED) with at least 6 years of equivalent experience. -Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion -GE Corporate Training Program graduate in Manufacturing / Operations / Engineering (GE employees only) -Ability to anticipate customer needs and ensure that they are met -Strong analytical skills -Experience with lean manufacturing implementation -Strong interpersonal and leadership skill -Strong organizational skills -Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines -Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college -Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Operations team leadership. -Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Manufacturing Project Management
