Tasks

The Fit-out Interior Architect is responsible for translating design concepts into practical, buildable solutions and ensuring that all interior fit-out works are executed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and client requirements. This role bridges the gap between design intent and on-site implementation, requiring strong technical knowledge, site experience, and attention to detail in every stage of the project. -Coordinate with MEP, structural, and civil teams for clash detection and technical alignment. -Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source finishes, furniture, and accessories. -Prepare and present design or technical submittals for consultant/client approval. -Coordinate authority submissions and ensure approvals are obtained from relevant Dubai authorities (DM, DCD, Trakhees, etc.). -Check and approve mock-ups, materials, and finishes before installation. -Review material submittals and ensure compliance with project standards. -Propose technical solutions and material alternatives in line with project requirements and budget constraints. -Manage and resolve on-site design-related issues and discrepancies promptly. -Conduct regular site visits to monitor and guide the progress of interior works, ensuring compliance with drawings and quality standards. -Handle RFIs and ensure timely resolution of design queries. -Support procurement by providing material specifications, quantities, and sample selections. -Ensure all fit-out activities comply with safety standards, local regulations, and company quality procedures. -Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and suppliers. -Ensure the design intent is maintained while adapting it for constructability and site conditions. -Provide technical guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and joinery workshops. -Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and tender documents for execution. -Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery details, and material specifications for site use and client approval.

What You Bring

-In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and fit-out construction techniques. -Excellent command of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office (3D visualization tools are an advantage). -Proven track record in executing commercial, corporate, retail, or hospitality projects. -Strong understanding of Dubai building codes and authority approval processes. -Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture (Master’s preferred). -Excellent coordination, communication, and site management skills. -Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. -5–10 years of experience in interior fit-out and construction, preferably in the UAE.
