

Provides financing solutions for infrastructure and asset-based projects across industries.
The internship will provide you with insights into relationship management with our institutional clients, how Infrastructure Asset-Backed Securities (“IABS”) and other capital market products are structured, distributed and managed, as well as how our infrastructure loans and bond assets are managed.
The Institutional Coverage team is responsible for managing relationships with financial institutions, sourcing of loan assets from these financial institutions, and facilitating the syndication of loans originated by Clifford Capital.
You will support our team in client coverage as well as the execution of project and structured finance debt transactions in four key sectors, namely Energy & Utilities, Natural Resources, Industrial & Transportation, Social & Digital Infrastructure.
You will support MIS which currently comprises Capital Markets, Institutional Coverage, and Collateral Management.
You will support the team on various aspects of launching a new asset management platform as well as the origination and execution of opportunities in the infrastructure credit space.
The Collateral Management team is responsible for the ongoing servicing of all loans and bonds assets under management by the Clifford Capital group, including those residing on the Group’s securitisation vehicles. These assets include predominantly project / asset-backed, corporate and mezzanine financings within the infrastructure and maritime sectors.
You will undertake various tasks as part of the structuring, credit analysis, due diligence, documentation and other ancillary activities on infrastructure debt financing transactions. You will also support the sector coverage teams in originating new transactions and evaluating new financing opportunities.
The Capital Markets team is responsible for (i) the structuring and execution of new structured issuances, (ii) the ongoing monitoring and management of existing issuances and (iii) managing and cultivating relationships with institutional investors.
Our Pathway Internship Programme is a 10-week summer internship designed to offer penultimate year students a hands-on and immersive experience in the world of global infrastructure financing. You will have opportunities to learn more about Clifford Capital’s business lines and hone your interpersonal skills.
The internship will provide you with insights into launching a new business line, learning the various aspects of setting up an asset management business as well as understanding how the team undertakes the necessary due diligence and credit analysis when reviewing investment opportunities.
All Pathway interns will be assessed for their potential and may receive full-time opportunities with us upon graduation.
