Tasks

-Act as the technical expert throughout design, procurement, and delivery phases. -Ensure that technical risks are clearly identified, tracked, and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle. -Ensure engineering solutions are technically sound, constructible, and compliant with applicable regulations and authority approvals. -Lead technical design reviews and value engineering workshops to improve cost efficiency and technical performance. -Monitor adherence to client requirements, project goals, and quality benchmarks. -Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of technical requirements on-site. -Review and coordinate construction documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ, and technical reports). -Maintain current awareness of international and regional codes, standards, and technical best practices. -Provide oversight of all technical disciplines including soil geotechnical, roads construction aspects for different pavement types (asphalt and concrete types). -Interface with design consultants, PMCM consultants, contractors, and internal teams to manage the resolution of technical issues and ensure timely deliverables. -Completes a variety of assignments such as reviewing the design submissions include drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.

What You Bring

-Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment under tight deadlines. -Fully aware of local and international standards and specifications for roads pavement this included but not limited to SHC, MOT, MOMRA, AASHTO, BRITSH -Minimum 15 years of relevant technical experience -Experience coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and authority bodies is essential. -Strong leadership in technical management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams -Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent alterative qualification or related work experience) -Skilled in technical documentation, reporting, and quality assurance processes. -Demonstrated ability to lead technical coordination and resolve -Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of translating complex technical matters into clear guidance. -Fully aware with Asphalt batch planet check list items, site machinery, construction sequence of the road layers, site tests, quality control procedures during the different construction stages.
