Tasks

-Facilitate project meetings to successfully coordinate work activity -Lead project close-out of project, including turnover of manuals and warranties and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors -Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity -Support the company’s acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations -Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project -Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting -Lead, train, and develop project team members -Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues -Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors -Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering and design firms

What You Bring

-Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors -Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience -4+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred -Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish -2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams -Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved -Ability to make timely and effective decisions -Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results oriented, adaptable, team player, accountable, ethical, innovative, resilient, builds relationships, builds people/teams and followership, sets direction and executes -DBIA and/or LEED Accreditation -Strong work ethic, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project
