Oversee night‑shift manufacturing ops, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Tasks
-Manages inventory, minimizing shortage for floor stock inventories -Responsible for issues regarding quality, safety, health, and environment for Production employees. Ensures that all safety and security procedures are followed. Supports the factory goals and continuously improves the QSE efforts. -Ensures that Cost of Quality (COQ) goals are met and that quality metrics are optimized for continuous improvement of the quality systems -Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. -Provides regular performance feedback to subordinates. Develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth. Continuous focus on the reduction of direct labor per equivalent unit produced. -Oversee day-to-day production operations, establishing priorities and optimizing resources to ensure the daily fulfillment of sections to meet the production plan. -Involved in identifying and recommending investment projects for machinery, tools, and equipment. -Ensure that safety is continually monitored and is treated as the number one priority of all factory personnel, and that safety guidelines and action items are completed -Continuous follow-up and fulfilment of targets for production performance (KPIs). Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data and reports results on the departmental KPI board. -Responsible for budget for own department; works within approved budget and develops and implements cost-saving measures. -Ensures that employees' competencies are sufficient and up to date for future demands. -Follows policies and procedures; supports the organization's goals and values. -Meets all compliance for local, state, and federal EPA and OSHA regulations

What You Bring
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP or other production systems. -Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. -Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and root cause analysis. -Effective leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide large teams. -Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. -Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar manufacturing systems. -6+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 3+ years managing large production teams (200+ employees preferred). -Extensive background in manufacturing or industrial operations — experience in wind, automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment is a plus. -Ability to create 3 - 5 year strategies that define growth, innovation, and capability improvement -Proficient in communication, coaching, and team development abilities. -Skilled in budget management, resource planning, and KPI tracking. -Experienced in facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and performing well under varying conditions. -Engaged approach with solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
