The Role

Overview

Manage, secure, and support servers, desktops, networks, and IT vendors in a DoD environment.

Tasks

-Administer operating systems and maintain basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups -Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner -Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills -Maintain, install, upgrade and configure data systems

What You Bring

-Must have a US TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV clearance. -Requires knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking principles in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media -Security+ certification -Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field -Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. -Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 2 years of directly related IT experience. A High School Diploma and an additional 5 years of directly related IT experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
