The Role

Overview

Lead design of small projects and support medium/large projects as a Project Architect.

Tasks

-Manage project scope, track milestones, and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget. -Research and apply building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. -Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observation. -Support business development, client relationship management, and project proposal preparation. -Develop space needs programs, building layouts, BIM models, construction documents, and detailed design solutions. -Mentor designers, technicians, and interns while contributing to quality assurance efforts. -Serve as Architect of Record on small projects. -Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including civil, structural, MEP/FP, and contractors. -Review shop drawings, prepare specifications, and support permitting processes.

What You Bring

-Experience preparing construction documents and performing field observation. -5+ years of architectural experience. -AIA membership preferred; industry certifications encouraged. -Strong knowledge of building materials, specifications, construction methods, and building/zoning codes. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering. -Licensed Architect or PE license in MN. -Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. -Ability to work across multiple projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
