Overview

Inspect and document civil construction projects ensuring quality and compliance.

Tasks

-Coordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing inplace soil compaction testing -Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines -Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projects -Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress

Requirements

• technical school
• associate degree
• inspection experience
• schedule interpretation
