Overview

Inspect, test, assess, and commission building enclosures for existing structures.

Tasks

-Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects -Building Enclosure Testing -Inspections of Building Enclosures -Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services -Mentoring other staff -Scheduling and oversight of facilities technicians -Building Enclosure Assessments -Assisting with projects as needed -Assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and projects -Building Enclosure commissioning consulting -Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or GED required; B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred -In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required. Experience with non-destructive testing preferred. -Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation -0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required
